What To Expect
This trip is designed to show Old Dhaka’s Lifestyle and a few archeological sites from 11th –15th century first. Then we go sightseeing around the Srimangal area. Bangladesh produces the finest quality tea (about 30 million kg of tea comes from here annually) Most of the Tea Gardens are situated in Srimangal, which consists of about 150 individual Tea Estates as well as plantations of lemons, oranges, and pineapples. Srimangal is also the home of three different indigenous communities, the Monipuri, Tripura and Khasia, whom you will visit. We then go on to the Lawacharra Rain Forest to see birds and wildlife. It is evident that this journey of four days will keep you very busy and ‘on the go’.
