What To Expect
This Tour is designed for you to observe and understand the lifestyle of the Bangladeshi valley Tribes, such as the Shantals & Garo people. There are 36 individual Ethnic Communities living in Bangladesh as well as a variety of other communities. Shantals tribes are believed to be the oldest among all the tribes in Bangladesh. One might say they are the ancestors of today’s Bengali people living in villages with a simple lifestyle. To visit the villages in the remote area is very interesting, and there is much to learn from seeing their way of life. Going to the 7th century Buddhist monastery is another magnificent experience. One may learn about Buddhism in Bengal there and about the Pala Dynasty. Also worth visiting are the Terracotta Temples of Puthia, built by 15c. Hindu Kings & Queens; and we go to the local fish markets too.

Dhaka

Meet and greet at Dhaka international airport, and transfer to your hotel. If time permits after check in and depending on your flight schedule, take a sightseeing tour of Dhaka. Back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Rajshahi

Today we experience the rural life of Bangladesh, and visit some local markets on the way to Rajshahi, not forgetting to visit the magnificent temple City of Puthia. We arrive at Rajshahi in the late afternoon to check in at your hotel. Stay overnight.

Rajshahi

This day from morning till afternoon we will be busy visiting the villages of the “SHANTALS” community, where we try to learn more about their daily life, manners & customs. If you are so minded, you could help with their daily tasks, cook with them and eat with them before enjoying a cultural show performed by Shantals. By this we will become Shantals for a day. In the early evening back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Rajshahi

Enjoy the beautiful Sunrise by the Great Padma river (Ganges), after breakfast checkout and start driving to Mymensingh to visit Garo Community. On the way visit brickfield, School villages. In the late afternoon visit the Garo Community and see their activities. Later drive to hotel, upon arrival check in to your hotel overnight.

Mymensingh

Enjoy the beautiful Sunrise by the Great Padma river (Ganges). After breakfast checkout and start out on the drive to Mymensingh to visit Garo Community. On the way we visit brickfield school villages. In the late afternoon we visit the Garo Community and see their activities. Later drive to the hotel and on arrival check in to stay overnight.

Mymensingh- Dhaka

After breakfast drive to a village of the Garo community where we will spend the whole day and help with their daily work. This includes enjoying the Garo lunch at their home. In the late afternoon drive to Dhaka. Check in to your hotel to rest overnight.
